Pyongyang, January 29 (KCNA) -- The France-Korea Friendship Association issued a statement on Jan. 21 urging the conclusion of the DPRK-U.S. peace treaty.
The statement accused the U.S. of getting more frantic with the moves for a nuclear war from the outset of the new year, finding fault with the DPRK's legitimate self-defensive measure, as evidenced by the former's amassing of nuclear strike means in the Korean Peninsula and its vicinity.
The DPRK has long been exposed to the harshest sanctions in the world.
The U.S. has persistently shunned the DPRK's proposal for concluding a peace treaty.
The Armistice Agreement cannot ensure peace in the Korean Peninsula.
The France-Korea Friendship Association calls for concluding the DPRK-U.S. peace treaty, expressing concern about the ever-growing tension in the peninsula and sanctions against the DPRK.
There should be dialogue for concluding a peace treaty between the DPRK and the U.S. and climate for trusting each other.
