Pyongyang, January 17 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, supreme leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, in his New Year Address called for further consolidating the political and ideological position of the Korean revolution.
The political and ideological position is the fortress decisive of victory or failure in defending socialism.
The basic guarantee for creditably carrying out the cause of building a thriving socialist nation lies in consolidating the revolutionary ranks politically and ideologically.
The Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) has always regarded the Juche idea as lifeline, positively conducting the ideological work among the people in conformity with the changing situation at each period, each stage of the revolution and construction.
The WPK has cemented the single-minded unity of the army and people by pursuing the politics of love and trust for them.
The solid political and ideological foundation has played a key role in beefing up the country's military muscle and it makes it possible to turn the country into an economic power in the near future.
It has been clearly proved that the invincibility of socialism depends on the political and ideological might and that a country, though it is small in population and territory, can emerge a dignified power when it has invariably consolidated its political and ideological position.
Under the seasoned leadership of the WPK, the DPRK has now turned into a socialist political and ideological power dignified with Songun (military-first) politics and single-minded unity. -0-
