Pyongyang, April 25 (KCNA) -- The France-Korea Friendship Association on April 6 posted on its internet homepage an article denouncing the U.S. for seeking to deploy THAAD in south Korea.
The article said:
The U.S. is examining the deployment of THAAD in south Korea.
This will spark off the rebuff of those countries around the Korean peninsula and arms race. The Koreans will be the first victims of its burden.
We resolutely oppose the U.S. deployment of THAAD disturbing peace and security in the region and holding in check the conclusion of a peace agreement in Korea.
The article referred to the DPRK's principled stand in this regard.
When public opinions at home and abroad are becoming increasingly vocal opposing the deployment of THAAD, the south Korean authorities are pretending that no decision has not been made as they should dance to the tune of the U.S. war moves, the article noted, adding:
