As the communication means necessary for people with both visual and hearing impairments, the development of tactile letter has an important significance.The Korean Economic and Cultural Centre for the Deaf and Blind formed a development team with officials concerned of the deaf and blind associations of Korea to push ahead with the effort to develop tactile letter.
