Pyongyang, March 18 (KCNA) -- Alexandr Matsegora, Russian ambassador to the DPRK, arranged a reception at the Taedonggang Diplomatic Club on Monday on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the conclusion of the agreement on economic and cultural cooperation between the DPRK and Russia.
Invited to the reception were Kim Yong Jae, minister of External Economic Relations who is chairman of the DPRK side of the DPRK-Russia Intergovernmental Committee for Cooperation in Trade, Economy, Science and Technology, Im Chon Il, vice foreign minister, So Ho Won, vice chairman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries who doubles as chairman of the DPRK-Russia Friendship Association, and officials concerned.
Present there were members of the Russian embassy and the delegation of the Federation Council of Russia.
Speeches were made there.
A performance was given by the folk art troupe of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area of Russia at the reception. -0-
