Pyongyang, March 19 (KCNA) -- A film show took place at the Taedongmun Cinema on Tuesday to mark the 70th anniversary of the conclusion of the agreement on economic and cultural cooperation between the DPRK and the Russian Federation.
Invited to the film show were Alexandr Matsegora, Russian ambassador to the DPRK, and his embassy members and the visiting delegation of the Federation Council of Russia led by Oleg Melnichenko, chairman of the Federal System, Regional Policy, Local Autonomous and Northern Affairs Committee of the council who is chairman of the Russia-DPRK Friendship Parliamentary Group.
Present there were So Ho Won, vice-chairman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries who doubles as chairman of the DPRK-Russia Friendship Association, officials concerned and others.
The participants watched a Korean documentary film "History of Eternal Friendship" showing the immortal exploits performed by President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il for the development of the DPRK-Russia friendly relations. -0-
