Talks were held between Kang Yun Sok, president of the Central Court of the DPRK who is on a visit to Vietnam as head of the delegation of the court, and Nguyen Hoa Binh, president of the Supreme People Court of Vietnam, on May 9.
Present at the talks from the DPRK side were members of the delegation of the Central Court and the DPRK charge d'affaires ad interim to Vietnam and from the Vietnamese side officials concerned including vice-president of the Supreme People Court.
At the talks both sides discussed the issues of promoting the cooperation and exchange between judicial organs of the two countries in conformity with the favorably-developing relations of friendship between the two countries.
An agreement on cooperation between the two courts was signed at the end of the talks.
