The Pass-On-Technology Conference Held

Some time ago the national pass-on-technology conference of agricultural workers was held at the Suwon Farm in Paechon County as regards the scientific and technologic problems of transplanting rice seedlings and fertilizing and tending field crops qualitatively in the right time to meet the demand of the Juche farming method.
The conference was attended by far more than 100 officials, including those of the Cabinet and the Ministry of Agriculture and the chairmen of the Rural Economy Committees of all provinces.
First of all, light was shed at the conference with the help of comprehensive visual aids on bedding out rice seedlings and manuring and cultivating field crops qualitatively in the right time as required by the Juche farming method.
In the next place it was said at the conference that rice seedlings must be fertilized and tended scientifically and technologically after their transplantation.
It was stressed at the conference that beans must be sown qualitatively in due season and earlier crops like potato, wheat and barley fertilized and grown well in the fields.
The rice seedling planters of the Suwon Farm made for its paddy fields with ceremony. Other rice seedling planters and ridge plows of various shapes as well as many farm machines and implements caught the eye, exhibited in the conference ground.
In the fields the participants in the conference were finally informed firsthand how to transplant big seedlings, humus-pot-grown seedlings, cold-bed humus-grown seedlings and many other humus-pot-grown seedlings, sow and raise rice direct in the fields and manure and tend maize and bean.
