Pyongyang, June 20 (KCNA) -- Newspapers of the DPRK in their editorials on Thursday say that the Korean people warmly welcome with delight Xi Jinping, president of the People's Republic of China, who is coming to the DPRK with the warm friendship feeling of the fraternal Chinese people.
Xi Jinping's visit to the DPRK despite the urgent and important tasks due to the complicated international relations vividly shows that the Chinese party and government are placing great importance on the DPRK-China friendship and it serves as an occasion for further strengthening the bonds of kinship between the two peoples, Rodong Sinmun says, and goes on:
His visit to the DPRK is a manifestation of support for and solidarity with the just cause of the people of the DPRK advancing under the leadership of the great Party, and a great encouragement to it.
The DPRK-China friendship is the invincible one, which was sealed in blood through the long and arduous revolutionary struggle and has been continuously carried forward despite all kinds of trials, and the common treasure of the two countries.
The history of the DPRK-China friendship vividly records the comradely friendship between the leaders of the elder generation who closely cooperated with each other hand in hand on the road for accomplishing the cause of anti-imperialist independence and peace and socialism.
The deep comradely trust and faith forged between the leaders of the two countries became the root of bonds of kinship that united the two peoples into the inseparable destiny and it has been invariably carried forward generation after generation for centuries.
It is the steadfast will and resolution of our Party, government and people to value and continuously develop the DPRK-China friendship that has been put on a higher stage thanks to Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un and President Xi Jinping.
