Korea’s first collection of short stories "Kumosinhwa"

In the DPRK there are many cultural heritage elements with a long history.
One of them is "Kumosinhwa", the first collection of short stories in Korea, written by Kim Si Sup who was active in the latter half of the 15th century.
The collection consists of five short stories.
The stories show the love for the motherland and the author's socio-political and philosophical views.
The collection is of weighty significance in studying the development of medieval novels in Korea.
