Koreans in China Observe 25th Anniversary of President Kim Il Sung's Demise

Pyongyang, July 10 (KCNA) -- The General Association of Koreans in China and its affiliated organizations held events on July 8, the 25th anniversary of President Kim Il Sung's demise.
An event took place to lay floral baskets at the statue of the President at Yuwen Middle School in Jilin.
Present there were Choe Un Bok, chairwoman and other officials of the General Association, officials of its branches, Koreans in China, officials of the DPRK consulate general in Shenyang, DPRK citizens working in Changchun and Jilin cities, a vice-director of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Jilin City People's Government, the head of Yuwen Middle School and other Chinese figures.
After laying the floral baskets, the participants paid tribute to the President.
The members of the Federation of Korean Economic Workers in China laid floral baskets before the portraits of smiling President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il at the Dandong Branch of the DPRK consulate general in Shenyang and paid tribute to them.
A remembrance meeting of the General Association took place.
Present there were officials and part-time officials of the General Association and members of its Shenyang City Branch.
An article on the President's greatness was read out at the meeting.
And the Korean documentary film "Our Leader" was shown.
Earlier, the Zhongnan Regional Association and the Yanbian Regional Association of the General Association held a remembrance meeting and a film study.
