Pyongyang, July 11 (KCNA) -- An Asian regional seminar on the Juche idea on the theme "Self-reliance is the guarantee for sovereignty and global peace" took place in Ulan Bator on June 29.

On display at the venue of the event were works of President Kim Il Sung , Chairman Kim Jong Il and Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un and books showing the developing DPRK.

Present there were the director general, secretary general and directors of the Asian Regional Institute of the Juche Idea, guests of honor, personages of various circles and Juche idea study organisation members in Mongolia and others.

Harish Gupta, director general of the Asian Regional Institute of the Juche Idea, made a report to be followed by speeches.

The reporter and speakers said President Kim Il Sung , a prominent great man of the 20th century, founded the Juche idea, applied it to the revolution and construction and wisely led the Korean people to push ahead with socialist construction in the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance.

Thanks to the unique Songun politics pursued by H.E. Kim Jong Il , the DPRK could demonstrate its dignity as a world-famous political and military power, they said, adding the Songun politics, which helped bolstering its own military muscle despite stern ordeals, is closely associated with self-reliance from the viewpoint of global peace.

H.E. Kim Jong Un clarified once again at the 4th Plenary Meeting of the 7th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea that it is the unshakable political line of the WPK to build a powerful socialist nation under the uplifted banner of self-reliance, they noted, pointing out that the DPRK under his guidance is fully demonstrating its might.

A letter to Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un was adopted at the seminar.
