Pyongyang, July 17 (KCNA) -- Remembrance meetings took place in Belarus, Austria, Sweden, Denmark and Uganda from July 3 to 5 on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung .
Present at the meetings were personages of various circles and masses in the relevant countries.
The chairman of the Belarusian Committee for Remembering President Kim Il Sung said that the progressive mankind of the world is recollecting with deep emotion the exploits of Kim Il Sung , the eternal leader of the Korean people, on the occasion of July 8.
The general secretary of the Society for the Promotion of the Relations between Austria and DPRK stressed that the Korean people are holding the President in high esteem as the eternal sun.
The chairman of the Sweden-Korea Friendship Association said that the Korean people could build socialism in a short period and firmly defend it thanks to the wise guidance of the President.
The co-chairman of the Danish Committee for Remembering President Kim Il Sung who is chairman of the Denmark-DPRK Friendship Association said that Kim Il Sung conducted energetic activities to defend and develop socialism and rendered material and moral assistance to the peoples struggling for their countries' independence and building of new society.
The Korean people would certainly accomplish the historic cause of socialist construction and national reunification as they are led by Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un who is successfully carrying forward the idea and cause of the President.
Messages to Kim Jong Un were adopted at the remembrance meetings held in Austria, Sweden and Denmark.
