Pyongyang, October 10 (KCNA) -- Leading newspapers of the DPRK Thursday in editorials marking the 74th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) stress that the founding of the WPK was a solemn declaration of the birth of new-type revolutionary party in the era of independence and a historic event of great significance in carving out the independent destiny of the Korean people and accomplishing the revolutionary cause of Juche.
Rodong Sinmun says that the long history of the WPK is a proud history in which it has paved the road of the revolution by dint of the single-minded unity and advanced the cause of building a powerful nation of Juche under the wise leadership of the peerlessly great men.
