Pyongyang, October 10 (KCNA) -- An increasing number of people visit the Monument to Party Founding on the occasion of the 74th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).
The Monument to Party Founding was built in October Juche 84 (1995) to mark the 50th founding anniversary of the WPK.
It has been visited by more than 6.45 million working people, servicepersons and youth and students of over 70 000 organisations in the last 20-plus years.
This year witnessed over 117 000 working people, servicepersons and youth and students of at least 3 200 organisations including Kim Il Sung University, Kim Chaek University of Technology, the Sunghori Cement Factory visiting the monument.
The visitors came to have a better knowledge of the party-building exploits of President Kim Il Sung who provided a historic root for Party founding and founded the Party right after the liberation of Korea so that the Korean people could hew out their destiny by dint of the reliable vanguard unit, militant general staff.
At the end of the visit to the monument overseas compatriots and foreigners expressed their confidence in the WPK leading the revolution and construction to victory. -0-
