Kim Jong Un, Chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea and Chairman of the State Affairs Commission and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, together with his wife Ri Sol Ju, appreciated a performance at the Samjiyon Theatre on January 25 on the occasion of the lunar New Year's Day.
Enjoying the performance were Choe Ryong Hae, Kim Kyong Hui, Ri Il Hwan, Jo Yong Won, Kim Yo Jong and Hyon Song Wol.
Watching it together with him were also working people and innovators of major industrial establishments and cooperative farms, officials and meritorious persons in the fields of scientific research and education and public health, and artistes of major art organizations in Pyongyang City.
The performance was given by the instrumentalists' band of the State Affairs Commission, the Samjiyon Orchestra, the State Merited Chorus and singers of major art organizations.
The performers highly praised the greatness of the WPK which is demonstrating the strength and dignity of the country all over the world while opening a new era of miracles and changes unprecedented in the human history despite all trials and difficulties in the way of the advance of the revolution.
The performance ended with the narrative poem and orchestral music and male chorus "We'll Travel One Road Forever".
Kim Jong Un, together with his wife, mounted the stage to meet the performers and congratulate them on their successful performance.
He expressed warm thanks to the performers who sang of the WPK and gave ardent support to its policy of struggle with their enthusiastic and high artistry.
