In December 2016 Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un visited the Wonsan Army-People Power Station.
Indeed, the power station bore witness to the fact that when one was resolved to carry out a project one’s spirit was very high and terrible and that the creative ingenuity and wisdom of our people who harness nature as they like were quite unfailing.
Kim Jong Un said that the power station demonstrated again that self-reliance alone was the way to our livelihood, that we could do everything when we worked by our strenuous efforts in self-reliance and that the power station was permeated with the indomitable attacking spirit of our Party. He continued to emphasize that no force could break the unyielding spirit of our people who went all-out to build a strong socialist country without fail by their efforts with their technology and resources.
Kim Jong Un believes that our revolution is propelled forward by the great might of our people who follow and defend the Party single-heartedly, not by mysterious God-given strength.
