Samjiyon, February 27 (KCNA) -- Deputies to the Supreme People's Assembly (SPA) of the DPRK and officials of the SPA Presidium on the expedition to the revolutionary battle sites in the area of Mt Paektu Thursday had meetings respectively at the plaza before President Kim Il Sung's statue of the Samjiyon Grand Monument.
At the meetings, speakers expressed their determination to bear in mind the intention of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, who made sure that the SPA deputies and officials of the supreme power organ of the Republic could make an expedition to the sacred land of Paektu, and to fulfill their responsibility and duty as faithful servants of the people.
They said that they would make a breakthrough for advance in the spirit of Mt Paektu in the van of the struggle to materialize the patriotic desire of the peerlessly great men for building a powerful country, noting that during the expedition to the revolutionary battle sites in the area of Mt Paektu, they were given ideological and mental treasures to be preserved all their lives.
They stressed that they would break through head-on all the barriers to our advance in the revolutionary spirit of Paektu, the spirit of the blizzards of Paektu to bring earlier the final victory of the revolutionary cause of Juche, the cause of socialism, true to the idea and leadership of Kim Jong Un.
On the same day, officials of the SPA Presidium walked round Konchang and Pegaebong bivouacs and Samthogong log cabin and visited the Samjiyon Blueberry Drink Factory. -0-
