Pyongyang, 2 de abril (ACNC) -- En la comuna de Songjong del distrito de Riwon de la provincia de Hamgyong del Sur se extiende a lo largo de la costa un pinar frondoso, llamado como Songdan o Songjong por su lindo paisaje.
No se veia ni sombra de pino en esa playa extensa hasta la primera mitad del siglo XVII.
Los aborigenes comenzaron a sembrar los coniferos desde 1643 en la parte al sur del riachuelo Songjong y desde 1661 en la zona al norte, hasta que se formara en 1728 un pinar rompevientos.
El bosque fue deteriorado gravemente durante la dominacion colonial del imperialismo japones sobre Corea en el siglo pasado.
Se recupero despues de la liberacion de Corea por el Presidente Kim Il Sung.
El visito el 27 de agosto del 38 (1949) de la Era Juche ese lugar, ocasion en la cual instruyo resembrar el pino, arbol nacional, en los puntos de tala indiscriminada.
Durante su visita realizada el 26 de julio de 1967 a la comuna de Songjong, el Dirigente Kim Jong Il resalto la importancia de proteger y cuidar el bosque pinoso, calificandolo de un patrimonio a conservar de generacion en generacion.
Hoy dia, Songdan deviene un destino favorito de recreo de los trabajadores coreanos.
