Pyongyang, April 3 (KCNA) -- Amid the uncontrollable spread of COVID-19 and its increasing damage worldwide, the DPRK further intensifies nationwide anti-epidemic activities to thoroughly prevent the inroads of the epidemic.
The recent teleconference on the state emergency anti-epidemic activities made public and appreciated admirable deeds and bitterly criticized some unsound practices of taking anti-epidemic work as routine.
The teleconference specially underscored the need to maintain the state emergency anti-epidemic system till the epidemic is stamped out across the world and to ensure the unity of social and public action for intensified anti-epidemic work.
The emergency anti-epidemic headquarters at all levels have established meticulous work system and order to check and block the inroads of the epidemic and carry out medical inspection and checkup, examination and quarantine in a responsible manner as required by anti-epidemic rules.
They make efforts to establish the emergency anti-epidemic information system enrolling all the hospitals and clinics for immediate transmission of necessary data and problems between the central headquarters and the lowest units to take due measures.
It is being strictly undertaken under the coordinated direction of the central emergency anti-epidemic headquarters to free people from quarantine. Those in quarantine were all freed in North Phyongan, South Hwanghae, Jagang, Kangwon and South Hamgyong provinces and Kaesong City, leaving over 500 isolated in other parts of the country.
It is also being definitely conducted to keep those freed from quarantine under medical observation and make them free according to the anti-epidemic rules. -0-
