Pyongyang, April 21 (KCNA) -- Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un sent birthday spreads to Ri Sin Ja, a recipient of the Order of Kim Il Sung, Labor Hero and ex-advisor to the Pyongyang City Rural Economy Committee, and Prof. and Dr. Ri Si Hup, a researcher at Kim Chaek University of Technology who is a winner of Kim Jong Il Prize, on their 80th birthday.
When visiting Rihyon-ri in Sadong District, Pyongyang, in January, Juche 50 (1961), President Kim Il Sung highly praised Ri Sin Ja, an ordinary rural girl, for her laudable deed and put forward her as a red instigator, pioneer in the reforming of men, who took the lead in the times.
Under the care of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il, she had worked as a management board chairperson, leading official in charge of agricultural sector of Pyongyang City and deputy to the Supreme People's Assembly, and was honored with the Order of Kim Il Sung and the title of Labor Hero.
Ri Si Hup has exerted all his wisdom and ardor to education and scientific research with a sense of honor and pride in teaching for the future of the country for decades after graduating from Kim Chaek University of Technology.
He blazed a trail in various specialties, wrote many textbooks and reference books and solved sci-tech problems arising in reality to make contribution to training sci-tech talents and building a thriving country.
Kim Jong Un put forward him as a winner of Kim Jong Il Prize. -0-
