Pyongyang, April 22 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun says in an article on Wednesday that the 4th Plenary Meeting of the 7th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea reaffirmed that it is the firm political line of our Party to build a powerful socialist nation under the uplifted banner of self-reliance.
The path of our revolution is to achieve prosperity by self-reliance and only when the line of self-reliance is thoroughly implemented, will the ideal of building a powerful socialist nation be realized, notes the article, and goes on:
The line of self-reliance is the most just one for firmly defending the independent prestige of our state and people.
The dignity and greatness of our State and people lie in that they grow stronger by dint of self-reliance from A to Z.
Our fatherland is, indeed, a powerful country based on self-reliance and self-development and a country making a progress and leap forward with self-development as a driving force.
The line of self-reliance is the most powerful one which ushers in a phase of fresh development and prosperity and accelerates socialist construction.
Self-reliance is the driving force of creating legendary stories about socialist construction of Juche Korea and the creation mode and fighting mettle of Korea which does not know the word impossible.
Our party has consistently stressed self-reliance to consolidate the firm foundation of steady development and prosperity, not hoping for gorgeous transformation and temporary rehabilitation.
The more we create valuable wealth on the strength of self-reliance and self-sufficiency, the faster the speed of socialist construction will be and the earlier the day of victory of socialism will come.
