Ryomyong Street, a monument to the era of the Workers’ Party of Korea, was built admirably in April 2017 in the revolutionary city of Pyongyang.
Despite having his hands full enough to lead a 70-day campaign in March 2016 Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un announced the construction of a new street intensively typical of socialist civilization between the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun and the Ryonghung Crossroads and named it Ryomyong (Dawn) Street to imply the dawn of the Korean revolution.
True to his plan, the soldiers of the Korean People’s Army and civilian builders regarded the construction site of the street as a frontline post to demonstrate national power and defend national dignity and went all-out to build it by leaps and bounds within the time appointed by the Party according to its demand for the quality of its buildings.
While the street was under construction Kim Jong Un worked hard with devotion day and night to shed full light on all the relevant problems and adopt all the necessary measures.
Consequently, the street was completed in more than 270 days although it was twice and over as big as Mirae Scientists Street.
It boasts superb formative and artistic multi-storied apartment blocks and skyscrapers which were made to go green in perfect harmony with each other and testifies to our future Juche-based architecture and socialist civilization.
The area of the KPS and the Ryongnam Hill has now been turned splendidly into a symbol of future Juche-oriented Korea and another blessed land of educators, scientists and the people.
