Secretary General of Korea-Arab Association Condemns Israeli Undisguised Move to Annex Territory

Recently, the Israeli government announced a plan to construct a new Jewish settlement capable of accommodating 7, 000-plus households on the West Bank of River Jordan, a Palestine territory, and to annex it to Israel.
This is an open challenge to the United Nations resolutions and other relevant international agreements adopted in respect of the Palestine issue, as it constitutes a wanton violation of the sovereignty of Palestine and an act of dispossessing its territory.
It is too natural, therefore, that the international society daily increases its voice of opposition and condemnation of the plan.
The Palestinian issue should be solved in a peaceful and fair way in conformity with the aspiration and demand of its people and the generally accepted international agreements.
We condemn the Israeli moves to annex parts of the West Bank of River Jordan and will, as ever, support and encourage the Palestinian people in their just struggle to regain their national rights and establish an independent state with East Kuds as its capital.
