Pyongyang, May 23 (KCNA) -- Kim Jae Ryong, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, member of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and premier of the Cabinet, inspected different units of the national economy.
Touring several places of Nampho Port, Kim Jae Ryong stressed the need to further round off the inspection and quarantine system without a single moment's relaxation under the situation in which the anti-epidemic work assumes protracted nature.
A field consultative meeting discussed issues of thoroughly carrying on disinfection on a scientific ground and organizing well the supply of disinfectant to ensure effective anti-epidemic work.
At Chongsan Co-op Farm in Kangso District he encouraged the agricultural workers in their labor efforts and stressed the need for officials to make sure that active drive for high yields should be waged based on scientific farming methods so as to celebrate the 75th founding anniversary of the Party with increased grain production.
Kim also learned about the operation of the Pyongyang Metro, development of new product at the Kim Jong Thae Electric Locomotive Complex and remodeling of the Kumsong General Tractor Factory. -0-
