Pyongyang, May 27 (KCNA) -- The on-going frontal breakthrough for opening up a broad avenue of prosperity by dint of self-reliance means making selfless, devoted efforts for the good of the people and it is a grand march of love for the people which can be unfolded only by our Party bearing the responsibility for their destiny, says Rodong Sinmun Wednesday in an article, and goes on:
It is for happier life of our great people, who have single-mindedly trusted in and absolutely supported the Party both in ordinary times and hard times, that the Party decided on another arduous and protracted struggle and declared the head-on breakthrough.
In the worst adversity under which others would have been bent on escaping trials, only our Party is unfolding a series of large-scale projects for the people with an active offensive on its own initiative without a moment of hesitancy or vacillation.
Our Party set as the first agenda the issue of taking thorough state measures for protecting life and safety of our people amid the worldwide pandemic at the meeting of the Political Bureau of its Central Committee, and pushes ahead with the construction of the modern Pyongyang General Hospital, which would have been unthinkable without our Party attaching top priority to the people.
The reality in which the people-oriented policies are invariably put into practices despite manifold difficulties, the benefit and convenience of the people are put above all and the Party affairs are oriented to defending and serving the people is a precious fruition of our Party's people-first politics. -0-
