Sindo, May 27 (KCNA) -- Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to Hyon Ok Son, a woman centenarian residing in the township of Sindo County of North Phyongan Province.
She, who was born into a poor peasant's family before the liberation of Korea, had faithfully worked to increase grain production for decades with a single mind to repay the benevolence of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il who built a genuine people's country and enforced the politics of loving care for the people.
She brought up four sons and daughters to be pillars of the rural outposts of socialism. Since becoming a pensioner, she has volunteered to do patriotic works conducive to the economic life of the country.
She is in good health, according to a doctor in charge of her health.
