Pyongyang, May 29 (KCNA) -- In the DPRK, the working class has creditably played its role as the vanguard of the Juche revolution and the eldest son of the country.
In the whole period of their revolutionary guidance, President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il trusted the workers and made them give full play to their revolutionary zeal and creative power to work world-shaking miracles.
Visiting the Kangson Steel Plant (Chollima Steel Complex at present) after the Fatherland Liberation War, the President put its workers in the van of great revolutionary upsurge, saying it would be good for the country if it has 10 000 tons of rolled steel in addition. Inspired by his trust, they produced 120 000 tons of steel from a blooming mill with 60 000-ton capacity.
Thanks to the devoted efforts of the Chairman who placed faith in the working class and made forced march in the blizzards of winter and sweltering weather, the Kanggye spirit was created and the torch of Songgang, the torch of Kangson and the flames of Hamnam were flared up to find a way of building a powerful socialist country.
The love, trust and wise guidance of the great leaders, who would find themselves among the workers, whenever difficult and enormous revolutionary tasks came up, and usher in a new golden age of revolution in reliance on them, were a motive force that trained the workers to be heroes of era.
Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un called the workers, intensely loyal to the idea and guidance of the great leaders, the heroic Kim Il Sung-Kim Jong Il working class. Contained in this title are trust and expectation of the Workers' Party of Korea that the workers will discharge its duty as the working class of the great leaders in accomplishing the revolutionary cause of Juche. -0-
