Pyongyang, May 30 (KCNA) -- Efforts are being made in universities throughout the country to make the contents of education practical, comprehensive and modern.
At Kim Il Sung University the teaching contents of the regular and postgraduate courses have been reviewed and the contents of teaching have been put on a practical basis in line with the present situation in our country based on the world trend of educational development and scientific successes made by teachers and researchers.
The university has put the contents of education on a comprehensive basis by supplementing adjacent discipline, basic subject, ones of special study, etc.
Kim Chaek University of Technology applied the achievements in scientific research and the development of advanced technology products to teaching. It has updated CDIO teaching method its own way to apply it in all the subjects.
Pyongyang University of Mechanical Engineering, Pyongyang Han Tok Su University of Light Industry, and other technical universities are introducing engineering education method.
Many universities set up new faculties such as artificial intelligence or merge subjects in an adjustment effort to improve the contents and method of teaching.
In online education, too, artificial intelligence technology has been introduced as a new subject.
Kim Hyong Jik University of Education, Kim Chol Ju University of Education and other teacher training universities are actively putting all the courses on a practical, comprehensive and modern basis. -0-
