Pyongyang, July 2 (KCNA) -- In May, the U.S. made public a report on strategy against China and officially set it as its strategy to put overall pressure upon China.
What is more serious is that the U.S. is categorically denying the socialist system led by the Communist Party of China (CPC) while terming it a dictatorial system.
Regarding China's growth and development as a "threat" to its hegemony and "leadership in the world", the U.S. is escalating the confrontation with China, says Rodong Sinmun on Thursday in a commentary.
It goes on:
The U.S. is intensifying pressure targeting the CPC and the socialist system of China.
Lucking behind this is a design to make a "color revolution" by dividing and disintegrating the Chinese people.
Socialism is a strategic choice of the Chinese people. And it is a steadfast will of the Chinese party and government to firmly defend and carry forward socialism.
Under the leadership of the CPC, the Chinese people have achieved world-startling changes and development.
The Chinese people have achieved many successes in the struggle for preventing the spread of COVID-19. This is unthinkable apart from the leadership of the CPC.
It is a wanton violation of the sovereignty of a country and an insult to the dignity of its people to put pressure upon it for the mere reason that it has differing ideology and social system and achieves development and prosperity.
The Korean people will as ever fully support the Chinese people in the struggle for upholding the leadership of the CPC, defending the gains of socialism and achieving the great prosperity of the Chinese nation. -0-
