Pyongyang, July 2 (KCNA) -- Twenty-six years have passed since the demise of President Kim Il Sung.
The President is the supreme incarnation of revolutionary comradeship as he gave birth to the history of genuine comradeship and led the Korean revolution to victory by dint of single-minded unity.
It was the greatest pleasure for him to gain comrades. So, he noted in his reminiscences "With the Century" that capitalists say they take great pleasure in making money, but he took the greatest pleasure and interest in making comrades.
Lots of stories showing his revolutionary comradeship came into being in the days of the anti-Japanese war. Among them are touching stories about the visit to guerrillas infected with epidemics, "a cup of parched-rice flour" and memorial writings for fallen revolutionary comrades.
Though many years passed, he had vividly remembered not only comrades' figures and names, but also their origins, careers, hobbies, characters and abilities.
One day in August Juche 62 (1973) when the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt Taesong was under construction, he visited the cemetery and gave detailed instructions on martyrs to be laid there for hours. Later, he offered necessary data on 40 martyrs additionally.
Thanks to his wise and meticulous guidance, the cemetery could be successfully built into an eternal symbol of comradeship.
Indeed, the life of President Kim Il Sung was that of trust and love for comrades. -0-
