Pyongyang, July 5 (KCNA) -- Leading newspapers here on Sunday say the recent enlarged meeting of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) comes to be an important occasion to clearly show the revolutionary nature of the WPK which has adopted the people-first principle as its political doctrine and mode.
Explicitly clarified at the enlarged meeting was the transparent stand of our Party that knows no slightest conceit or concession in the struggle for the safety of the people, say the newspapers.
Rodong Sinmun in an editorial says that our Party exercised far-sighted leadership at the outbreak of the worldwide pandemic to take thoroughgoing measures against the inroads of malignant virus, and goes on:
The main idea stressed at the meeting is that all the sectors and units should further strengthen the emergency anti-epidemic work till the danger of the inroads of epidemic is completely rid of, not intoxicated with self-complacency over the current good situation of anti-epidemic work, which may lead to easing the strain.
The meeting proved once again the greatness of our Party's people-first politics which gives top priority to the interests of the people and regards them as absolute.
At the meeting, powerful state measures were taken for rapidly solving the problems arising in completing at the world level the Pyongyang General Hospital to be capable of providing the people with the most advanced medical service.
The recent enlarged meeting serves as a milestone of great significance in thoroughly applying the people-first politics of our Party that regards people as treasure and makes selfless, devoted efforts for the good of people.
Minju Joson in an editorial calls on all the people to further demonstrate the politico-ideological might of our country, in which they move as one upon the order of the Party Central Committee, and highly display the honor of victors in the on-going offensive for making a breakthrough head-on by accomplishing the Party's decision with successful performances.
