Sariwon, July 5 (KCNA) -- Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to Ra Pan Wol, a centenarian residing in neighborhood unit No. 43, Unbyol-dong, Sariwon City.
She, born into a poor peasant's family, had keenly felt the sorrow of statelessness, being subjected to all kinds of maltreatment and contempt, before the liberation of the country.
It was only after President Kim Il Sung liberated the country that she came to lead a worthwhile life as a human being. She had long worked as an agricultural worker honestly with a single mind to repay the great loving care shown by President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il with increased grain production.
After becoming a pensioner, she did not stop working to assist the People's Army, and gave a sincere help to the road improvement project in the city.
She specially likes soy-based foods and vegetable and has enjoyed a life in good health, while cultivating kitchen garden.
