Pyongyang, July 6 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Monday in an article stresses that making selfless, devoted efforts for the good of the people is the mode of existence and revolutionary climate of the Workers' Party of Korea that regards the popular masses as the source of its life.
Saying that the people are the lifeblood of a revolutionary party, the article points out that the party which is forsaken by the people and devoid of the mass foundation is bound to collapse.
The article goes on:
The lifeblood of the Party becomes robust when officials make selfless, devoted efforts for the people.
The officials should become faithful servants for the people, cherishing the noble spirit to dedicate their all to strengthening the lifeblood of our Party.
Making selfless, devoted efforts for the good of the people is the proud tradition of the WPK. The people-first principle runs through the overall Party work and a climate of respecting, loving and serving the people prevails in the Party. Herein lie the invincible might and true picture of our Party.
The officials should make a substantial contribution to improving the people's standard of living with a firm viewpoint that they should make pains-taking efforts for the good of the people, which will deepen the people's trust in the Party and lead to the louder hurrah for it.
All the officials should turn out in the work for embodying the spirit of the 14th Enlarged Meeting of the Political Bureau of the 7th Central Committee of the WPK, bearing in mind that making selfless, devoted efforts for the good of the people is the mode of existence of our Party.
