Pyongyang, July 6 (KCNA) -- "Go among the people!", this is the generic maxim representing the revolutionary activities of President Kim Il Sung for introducing his motto of believing in the people as in Heaven into reality, and the precious political creed that ran through his whole life.
After embarking on the road of revolution in his early years, the President always found himself among the people.
He said that whatever difficult and complicated tasks can be implemented when the inexhaustible creative power and wisdom of the popular masses are enlisted.
He always shared bitters and sweets with people and regarded the demand and interest of people as the absolute standard for drawing up every line and policy.
After Korea's liberation from Japan's colonial rule, he went round rural areas to fathom the long-cherished desire of peasants for land, and on this basis, he saw to it that the agrarian reform law was published.
During the arduous postwar period, he discussed important state affairs with people and created the new history of socialist construction by arousing them to the great revolutionary upsurge.
Even the line of building an independent national economy, basic line of socialist economic construction and the Chongsan-ri Spirit and Chongsan-ri Method, superior idea and method of leadership over the masses, were the ones he had matured and created when he visited industrial establishments and rural and fishing villages to meet the working people.
For the happiness of the people, he gave field guidance to over 20,600 units, covering more than 578,000 kilometers during the period from the liberation of the country to the last moments of his life.
Therefore, the yearning of the people in the DPRK for the President grows stronger with the passage of time, amid the resounding of hymns like "Leader, the Night is Far Advanced" and "Our Leader".
