Pyongyang, July 7 (KCNA) -- A British organization and Russian figures made public statements in the period between July 1 and 3 on the occasion of the 26th anniversary of the demise of President Kim Il Sung.
The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy in its statement said that Kim Il Sung was a great leader of the international socialist movement and a renowned elder statesman.
The statement said that he liberated Korea, once eclipsed in the world map, and built an independent and strong socialist state, adding that he made a great contribution to the accomplishment of the cause of independence against imperialism.
The chairman of the Tynda Association for the Study of the Juche Idea in Russia in the statement paid the respect to the President on the occasion of the anniversary, and said that the President would always be praised as the most outstanding great man of the 20th century.
The chairman of the Russian Blagobeshensk Association for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism in the statement said that the world progressives are looking back on the career and exploits of the President with the yearning for him.
The Juche idea is the priceless ideological heritage he left to mankind, the statement said.
The idea is studied and disseminated worldwide, which shows well what a great idea it is, the statement stressed. -0-
