Pak Pong Ju, member of the Presidium of Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the WPK, inspected the construction site of the Pyongyang General Hospital.
Making the rounds of different places of the construction site, he said officials should enhance their responsibility and role without resting on their laurels to meet the requirements of designs and building operations in the whole course of construction.
While learning about the introduction of advanced construction methods, he stressed the need to maximize the work efficiency by deploying manpower rationally and ensuring timely supply of materials as the project is pushed forward in a three-dimensional way.
The field consultative meeting urged the construction coordination commission and the units in charge of construction to map out detailed plans for every process and discussed issues arising in stepping up the construction of the hospital by mobilizing all manpower, equipment and materials.
