Pyongyang, July 10 (KCNA) -- The Social Science Book Publishing House in the DPRK recently issued new books "Korean Phraseology" and "Korean Sentence Self-interpretation", series of "Complete Book on Korean Linguistics" (Vols. 54 and 55).
The complete book has been published since Juche 95 (2006) as one comprehending the achievements made in the linguistic field of the country. The book deals with the Juche-based linguistic idea of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il and their great feats for the establishment of cultured language, the linguistic policy of the Workers' Party of Korea, the history of Korean language, the theory of Korean linguistics, the researches into old Korean folk songs, grammar, stylistics, dialectology, etc.
"Korean Phraseology" was written for the purpose of further enriching the Korean linguistic theory and improving the quality of Korean language education and the linguistic life. It explains about the essence and general and linguistic characteristics of idioms, branch of idiom, linguistic practice and idiom.
"Korean Sentence Self-interpretation" describes the foundation of grammar, self-interpretation principle for Korean sentence according to its structural and typical characteristic, self-interpretation method for Korean sentence, etc. -0-
