Pyongyang, July 20 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea, chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and supreme commander of the armed forces of the DPRK, gave field guidance to the Pyongyang General Hospital under construction.

He was greeted on the spot by Pak Pong Ju, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the WPK, Pak Thae Song, Kim Jae Ryong, premier of the Cabinet, and officials of the construction coordination commission.

Touring the construction site, he highly appreciated the builders for their labor feats, saying that lots of things have been done so far and the construction has made exceptionally rapid progress despite difficult situation.

After hearing a detailed report on the overall situation of the construction from the construction coordination commission on the spot, he pointed out serious problems in economic organization for the construction.

He said that the construction coordination commission is organizing economy in a careless manner with no budget for the construction properly set up, yet. Noting that it is making a serious digression from the Party's policy in supplying equipment and materials to go against the intention of the Party which initiated the construction for the people and mapped out its operation, he severely rebuked it for burdening the people by encouraging all kinds of "assistance".

Saying that the construction coordination commission failed to solve all the problems in conformity with the Party's policy line, he said in the strong terms that if such situation is left to go on, the noble plan and intention of the Party which initiated the glorious and worthwhile construction for the good of the people could be distorted and the image of the Party be tarnished.

He instructed the relevant departments of the Party Central Committee to investigate the performance of the construction coordination commission as a whole and replace all the officials responsible and make strict referral of them.

Pointing out that though the construction work of the hospital was being pushed ahead thanks to the patriotic zeal and devoted efforts of the builders and the working people in charge of equipment and materials, it was just at the beginning and there still were a lot of things to do, he stressed the need for the construction coordination commission to keep pace with the Party Central Committee and properly conduct detailed organization and operation for carrying out the decisions made at the 14th Enlarged Meeting of the Political Bureau of the 7th Central Committee of the WPK. -0-
