Pyongyang, August 1 (KCNA) -- There took place events by the General Association of Koreans in China and its affiliated organizations on July 27 in celebration of the 67th anniversary of the Korean people's victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War.
The association held a meeting in Benxi City.
Speakers said that the Democratic People's Republic of Korea could deal a miserable defeat to the invaders who boasted the numerical and technological superiorities in the past Fatherland Liberation War thanks to the unique military idea, Juche-based art of war and superb stratagem and tactics of President Kim Il Sung and the people and service personnel who turned out as one in the sacred war to defend the country, united close around their leader.
They described the military miracle of July 27 in which the Korean people honorably defended the dignity and sovereignty of the country and nation as the great victory won by them under the leadership of Kim Il Sung in the confrontation with imperialists.
There took place celebration meetings by officials of the Yanbian Regional Association of the General Association of Koreans in China and its affiliated organizations in Yanji City, Jilin Province, China.
Speakers said that the immortal exploits performed by Kim Il Sung who created the legendary story about the victory of heroic Korea in the war, leading the unprecedented and hard-fought Fatherland Liberation War to brilliant victory, will shine long.
The participants watched a video clip "Military parade held with splendor in celebration of the 70th founding anniversary of the Korean People's Army" and held round-table talks. -0-
