Pyongyang, August 4 (KCNA) -- Pak Pong Ju, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and vice-chairman of the C.C., WPK, inspected several units in Nampho City.

He called on officials to ensure unity of thinking and action to meet the requirement of the maximum emergency system true to the idea put forth at the emergency enlarged meeting of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and more strictly abide by the anti-epidemic regulations in harbor work to thoroughly check the inroad of the malignant pandemic.
Making round of several production fields of the Taean Heavy Machine Complex, he stressed the need for the officials and working class to be well aware of their mission and duty in order to ensure good timing between processes for manufacturing custom-built equipment needed for various sectors of national economy and ensure high-level accuracy in processing equipment.
At the Nampho Taegyong Fishery Station and the Ryongnam Dockyard, he called for building the self-propelled dredger to meet the scientific and technological needs and producing the equipment as befitting managers, and underlined the importance for the Party organizations to enhance their role in arousing the masses to produce parts necessary for repairing ships on their own. -0-
