Pak Pong Ju, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and vice-chairman of the WPK Central Committee, familiarized himself with the work of different sectors in Nampho.
Having learnt about the anti-epidemic work at Nampho Port, he pointed to the need to ensure the unity of thinking and action as required by the top-grade emergency system, true to the spirit of the emergency enlarged meeting of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee, and to organize work carefully so as to put in force the anti-epidemic regulations more strictly in harbour work, thereby thoroughly checking the inroads of the pandemic.
As he made the rounds of different production sites of the Taean Heavy Machine Complex, he referred to the need to properly coordinate processes and ensure high accuracy in processing equipment so as to ensure the sufficient production and supply of custom-built equipment for different economic sectors.
