Pyongyang, August 6 (KCNA) -- Under the unified command of the central emergency anti-epidemic headquarters, ministries and national institutions all out in the anti-epidemic campaign are striving to fully supply goods necessary for the living of the people and the anti-epidemic work in Kaesong City now under complete lockdown.
Since the state's emergency anti-epidemic system turned into the maximum emergency system, over 550,000 goods of more than 30 kinds have been urgently supplied to the city.
The Cabinet has taken timely measures for the supply of goods after learning in detail about the situation of the city.
The Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Fisheries are organizing the work to send many materials to the city by railway, truck and other transport means.
The officials and working people of the Ministry of Commerce and the units under it, and officials of the State Planning Commission, the Ministry of Coal Industry, the Guidance Bureau of Public Catering Service?and other ministries and national institutions also sent various basic necessities to the city and are sincerely working for the convenience of the inhabitants in the city under complete lockdown.
The Ministry of Railways is meticulously guiding transportation after setting a detailed transport timetable, ensuring that loading and unloading in relevant stations are done in keeping with anti-epidemic rules.
The Ministry of Public Health and the central emergency anti-epidemic headquarters are doing well the work to fully supply consumables needed for the anti-epidemic work in the city.
