Chairman Kim Jong Il Praised for Undying Feats for Development of DPRK - Russia Friendly Relations

Pyongyang, August 14 (KCNA) -- A Russian organization and figures lauded Chairman Kim Jong Il for his undying exploits for the development of the DPRK-Russia friendly relations on the occasion of the 19th anniversary of the peerlessly great man's historic visit to the Russian Federation.
The National Salvation Front of Russia said in a statement that Kim Jong Il's visit to Russia provided a reliable foundation to develop the traditional Russia-DPRK friendly relations into a higher level as required by the new century, adding that the agreements made during the visit marked a new milestone in tightening the strategic cooperation between the two countries for ensuring global peace and security.
At an internet seminar hosted by the Russian Association for the Study of the Juche Idea, the chairman and the scientific secretary of the association, the director of the Russian Institute of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism and the chairman of a regional association for the study of the Juche idea referred to the significance of the meeting and talks held between Chairman Kim Jong Il and President Putin in 2001, recalling that the two countries have strengthened mutual cooperation and exchange in various fields since the adoption of the DPRK-Russia Moscow Declaration.
The chairwoman of the Kim Jong Suk Women's Union of Russia who participated in the seminar said that she could not forget the time when she saw on TV Kim Jong Il visiting Sankt-Peterburg City 19 years ago, and went on:
Despite his tight schedule, Comrade Kim Jong Il paid a condolatory visit to the Piskaryov Cemetery where the remains of the heroic soldiers who laid down their lives during the hard-fought great Patriotic War, and toured various places including the Hermitage Museum.

The exploits performed by Kim Jong Il for the development of the Russia-DPRK friendly relations will be immortal.
