Congratulatory Letter to Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un from Chongryon Central Standing Committee

Pyongyang, August 15 (KCNA) -- Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un received a congratulatory letter from the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) on Aug. 15, the 75th anniversary of Korea's liberation.
The letter said that President Kim Il Sung is the hero of the Korean nation and the founder of socialist Korea who saved Korea, which had been deprived of its own colour on the world map, and built a full-fledged independent and sovereign state and a country whose people became its masters, adding that he has always been remembered by the world progressives as the most prominent leader in the 20th century and the sun of Juche for his undying feats for the Korean revolution and the cause of global independence.
It said that Chairman Kim Jong Il regarded it as his lifetime mission to carry forward and accomplish the cause of Juche pioneered by President Kim Il Sung and turned the country into an invincible political and ideological power and a military power. As he took warm care of Koreans in Japan with paternal affection and reliably defended them with the treasured sword of Songun, Chongryon could demonstrate to the whole world its honor as a patriotic pioneer and a model of patriotism and loyalty and overseas compatriots organizations, it added.
It said that Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un is adding luster and giving steady continuity to the proud history and traditions of the country liberated and glorified by the great leaders.
The letter expressed the will to intensify the patriotic movement by putting spurs to the five-month intensive campaign for greeting "Chongryon Chapter Representative Conference-2020" (the third conference for a new heyday) with high zeal and achievements in work, keeping pace with the dynamic general advance of the people in the homeland who are all out in the offensive for making a breakthrough head-on to greet the 75th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea with brilliant labor feats.
The Chongryon Central Standing Committee in the letter sincerely wished the respected Supreme Leader good health, reflecting the intense loyalty and reverence of all the Chongryon officials and other Koreans in Japan for him. -0-
