Pyongyang, September 1 (KCNA) -- Not a few areas of the DPRK have been recently damaged by flood and typhoon.
However, the inhabitants in those areas are now filled with confidence and optimism as the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) has taken warm care of the people's life, reliably protecting their destiny.
At the 16th meeting of the Political Bureau of the 7th WPK Central Committee, Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un said that it is a crucial time for the Party to be responsible for their living and go closer to them to share the pain with them and relieve them of their sufferings.
Going round a typhoon-stricken area in South Hwanghae Province some days ago, the Supreme Leader said that it is one of the top-priority tasks to be surely carried out by the Party to go among the people and encourage and sincerely help them when they are in trouble and feel difficult and that the Central Committee of the Party should always be with them both when they are in weal and woe.
True to his noble intention, officials of the WPK Central Committee went to the typhoon-hit areas of South Hwanghae Province to launch the recovery work at croplands. And a brisk work is going on to get the inhabitants in the flood-hit areas to settle down in their living and finish the housing construction for them in the shortest period through a vigorous army-civilian joint operation.
That's why the Korean people are calling the WPK the motherly party which has set the people-first principle as its political creed and mode and hardening their will to believe in and follow only the Party under any circumstances. -0-
