Pyongyang, September 23 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, received a message of greeting from Joko Widodo, president of the Republic of Indonesia, on Sept. 2.
The message said:
Please allow me to convey to Your Excellency and the people of Democratic People's Republic of Korea, my sincere congratulations on the occasion of the 72nd anniversary of the founding day of the DPRK on 9 September 2020.
I believe the spirit of the founding day will strengthen efforts of the government and people of DPRK to overcome the challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
I would also like to take this opportunity to reiterate my commitment in strengthening the cooperation between Indonesia and DPR Korea for mutual benefit of our two nations, as well as for the peace and progress in the region and beyond.
Please accept, Excellency, the renewed assurances of my highest consideration and my best wishes for Your Excellency's good health and continued success in Your Excellency's noble tasks. -0-
