The people in the DPRK live and work full of confidence and optimism although lots of its areas recently sustained damage from flood and typhoon.
It is thanks to the Workers' Party of Korea which takes warm care of the people, reliably protecting their destiny.
At the 16th meeting of the Political Bureau of the Seventh Central Committee of the Party, Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un who grieved over the pain of the afflicted said that at such a time as now it is none other than our Party that should take full responsibility for their living and get closer to them to share their suffering and relieve it.
Going round a typhoon-stricken area in South Hwanghae Province recently, he said that it is one of the top priorities of our Party to go deep among the people to share bitters and sweets with them and encourage and sincerely help them when they are in difficulty and distress and that the Party Central Committee should always be with them both in weal and woe.
At present, moving scenes are unfolding in the afflicted areas thanks to the dedicated efforts of the Supreme Leader to clear the misfortune from the people and bring them a happier life.
Officials of the WPK Central Committee are now in the typhoon-stricken areas of South Hwanghae Province to repair damage to farmlands and crops together with farmers, while brisk activities are going on in the lood-hit areas to stabilize the inhabitants’ living conditions and complete house construction for them as early as possible through the joint operation between service personnel and people.
