Jaeryong, September 26 (KCNA) -- Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to Kim Song Ok, a centenarian living in the township of Jaeryong County, South Hwanghae Province.
She, born into a poor peasant's family, keenly experienced the grief of being a stateless woman before the liberation of the country, being subject to humiliation and insult. She could lead a worthwhile life as a master of the country after President Kim Il Sung liberated the country.
Granted farmland she had ardently desired, she worked hard to live up to the solicitude of the country. During the Fatherland Liberation War, she was active in supporting service personnel of the People's Army. She also positively took part in postwar agricultural cooperativization. She dedicated herself to increasing agricultural production for decades with a sense of responsibility for the granary of the country.
