Pyongyang, September 27 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Sunday says in an article that the reconstruction campaign site for riding of inconvenience and pain being suffered by the disaster-stricken people has become the forefront on which our Party focuses all its efforts.
Our Party, deeming it as its great honor to dedicate itself to the great people, has taken every possible measure to live up to their deep trust in it, the article says and goes on:
The keynote of the reconstruction campaign is to plan all works on the principle of prioritizing the desire and demand of the people in the disaster-stricken areas and carry them out.
So what should be placed above all in the building of dwelling houses are the desire, demand, interests and convenience of the local residents.
It is possible to provide them with homes of happiness when simultaneously ensuring the speed of construction and prioritizing their convenience and safety.
It is important to remodel the disaster-stricken areas in a current fashion.
The reconstruction campaign is the struggle for building all structures to be impeccable, not merely restoring them.
As the dwelling houses being built in the disaster-stricken areas are homes of not only today's generation but also coming generation, their quality is a yardstick by which to measure view on people and future.
The work for recovery from natural disasters is an important one for ensuring prestige of our Party and advantages of our socialism.
Our efforts to transform the disaster-stricken areas into an ideal land for people will further enhance the prestige of Party and the state which struggle for the people and fully demonstrate the advantages of our socialism centered on the masses. -0-
